• EASTER AIRLIFT

To commemorate the height of the Berlin Airlift, on Good Friday 1949, the RAF Museum in Hendon is hosting Easter Airlift. Taking inspiration from its String of Pearl display, children aged five and above can make their own parachute and origami supply drop box.

Hop along to Fenton House on Easter Weekend and eggsplore the garden. The Cadbury and National Trust Easter Egg Trail will take you on a tour around the garden. On Easter Monday there’s an egg and spoon race, but don’t forget your spoons!

Holiday workshops at the Phoenix Cinema are back. On Monday, April 8 the costume department allows you to be inspired by the stars of the silver screen and create some fabulous costumes and disguises from paper. The day will also include drama, games and performances, from 10am to 3pm. On Friday, April 12 is Light, No Camera, Action! Explore the magical process of camera-less photography. Create beautiful pieces of art using the cyanotype technique and investigate the principles of film and print technology, from 10am to 3pm.

  • WIZARD OF OZ 

This Easter The Ark Theatre in Borehamwood will be transformed in to the magical land of Oz for one day only as Herts Inclusive Theatre lead a series of activities, fun and games themed around the Wizard of Oz. Come dressed as your favourite character from the story and win a prize for the most imaginative costume. The day includes a screening of the classic 1939 film in the theatre’s auditorium.
