A horticulture expert has won the chance to help award-winning garden designer Adam Frost at this year’s Chelsea Flower Show.
Seamus McCarthy, who works at Homebase in Hendon, has been selected out of 19,000 colleagues to create a garden, called Sowing the Seeds of Change, in association with Homebase's charity partner the Alzheimer's Society.
Mr McCarthy said: “It is going to be a great experience. I’m really looking forward to working with Adam and being able to bring back some tips to tell my store colleagues and customers.”
Mr McCarthy was nominated by regional manager Carl Bladon for his high level of horticultural knowledge and his commitment to the garden centre customers at the Hendon store.
