Young footballers from a Potters Bar school helped stock the school's trophy cabinet in a regional competition.
Boys from Mount Grace School, in Church Road, Potters Bar, played against other schools from the area in this year’s County Cup.
Although the 13 to 14-year-olds in Year 9 lost 2-0 to Queens School, head coach Adam Smith said he was “immensely proud” of the team.
The Year 10 pupils won the overall cup against Borehamwood's Hertswood Academy 2-0 and the Year 11 boys also beat their Hertswood counterparts 1-0 to win the district cup.
Mr Smith said: “For a school of this size, this is such a big achievement. They all worked so hard to get the results and beat the teams.”
