A man from Barnet has been arrested on suspicion of terrorism offences.
Officers from the MPS Counter Terrorism Command arrested the 57-year-old man at an address in Barnet on suspicion of encouragement of terrorism.
A 50-year-old man was also arrested at an address in Westminster on suspicion of encouragement of terrorism and suspicion of possessing information useful to persons preparing or committing acts of terrorism.
Police are searching both addresses as well as a number of vehicles.
The men remain in custody at a police station in south London as enquiries continue.
