Girl guides and scouts gave shoppers a helping hand to raise money for a World Scout Jamboree.
Children and teenagers from guide and scout groups in Potters Bar spent the day helping customers at Sainsburys in Potters Bar pack groceries, raising £350.
They have been selected by Hertfordshire Scouting and Guiding alongside others aged 12 to 16 represent their country at the jamboree in Japan.
The Scout Association of Japan will welcome other Scouts to share each other’s cultures and faiths, along with taking part in adventurous activities and tackling world issues.
Richard Bird, Potters Bar Scouts unit leader, said: “We would like to thank Sainsbury’s Potters Bar for offering to support our essential fundraising by bag packing in store.”
