Detectives have released an e-fit image of a man they want to speak to in connection with an assault.
The 43-year-old victim had parked his vehicle in Kings Street, East Finchley, at the junction with Central Avenue at 2.45am on November 30, 2013.
He saw a man running in his mirror before three men approached the driver's door of his car.
The man was still sitting in his car when he was hit close to his eye socket with an object believed to be a bottle.
The men left the scene and the victim started to drive himself to hospital.
He managed to stop an ambulance in Colney Hatch Lane where he was treated and taken to hospital.
The suspects are described as two light-skinned black men and one white man, all in their 20s.
