Proposals for a depot in Pinkham Way are being looked at.
Barnet Borough Council is considering plans for a vehicle depot and waste transfer facility on the Pinkham Way site, in Haringey, by 2016. The current depot is in Mill Hill.
Half of the land in Pinkham Way is owned by the council, the other half by the North London Waste Authority. It is under the planning control of Haringey Council.
The current proposal is for the location of the depot. There is no proposal for an incinerator on the site, unlike previous plans.
More to follow.
