Police officers will take to the streets to give advice on preventing crime.
A total of 500 officers will visit schools, train stations and town centres across Barnet on Thursday, September 25 as part of 'project mercury’, which aims to give advice on how to prevent burglary during the winter.
They will be joined by volunteers from London Fire Brigade, victim support and neighbourhood watch groups.
The day will start at 10am.
