Volunteers collected food for the poor during an annual day to encourage people to give something back to the community.
BBC EastEnders star Nitin Ganatra knocked on people’s doors in Finchley to ask for food donations for Barnet Refugee Services on Sunday, October 5.
The event was part of Sewa Day 2014, an international day of volunteering.
People visited Sainsbury’s, in West Hendon, and Tesco, in Edgware, for a food drive to support the charity.
