A 'happy day' was held to celebrate a student's successful book.
Queenswood School, in Brookmans Park, held the event yesterday to celebrate Hanni Blaskey’s book What Makes Me Happy?
Hanni, 13, published the book for BBC Children in Need. It features more than 100 celebrities and politicians discussing the things that make them happy, and went to number one in Sainsbury's paperback chart last month.
Hanni signed copies of her book, and messages were sent to linked schools around the world, including in Malawi, Japan and Australia, and people were encouraged to contribute their own messages about happiness.
Paul Stephens, store manager at Sainsbury's Potters Bar, said: “We are pleased to be stocking Hanni’s book, and we’re proud to have such a talented young author in our local community. We’d like to wish Hanni all the best with her future writing career.”
