A man is wanted in connection with a number of incidents involving theft and public order offences.
Police officers want to speak to Daniel Taylor, 35, who they believe is in Barnet, in connection with crimes across Hertfordshire.
They include an alleged theft from the BP service station in Potters Bar on July 26; theft of alcohol from the Co-operative store in Potters Bar on September 12, a public order offence in the same Co-Op store on the same day, in which a staff member was threatened with serious violence, and the alleged theft of meat from the BP service station in Potters Bar on September 26.
Police wish to speak with Mr Taylor, who is of no fixed address, urgently, as it is believed he may be able to assist officers with their enquiries.
Anyone who sees him is urged to call 999, and anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call PC Jon Singleton on 101.
