Students will mark six decades of education at their school with a play.
Pupils at Whitefield School, in Claremont Road, Barnet, will perform 'Sixty' to mark their school's 60th anniversary.
The play tells the story of Betty, a student at Whitefield when it first opened in the mid-1950s, whose life comes full circle when she returns to the school as a teacher.
Written and produced by school staff, it recounts major cultural events since 1955 through Betty's eyes, with a soundtrack of popular music of the past sixty years.
Performances will take place at the school’s Acorn Theatre on February 10 and 11 at 7pm. Tickets cost £3 and can be reserved by calling the school on 0208 455 4114.
