This picture shows the entrance to the British Newspaper Library as the building was being torn down.
Reader Frances Liddane, who took the photo, said: "I took this last night and this morning it was rubble.
"I was hoping to get a proper photo of the doorway but the boards were impossible to climb or see through.
"This was taken through the crack of the barricade. It is a tragedy to watch an area so swamped in construction belittle such an important building in a way as unfitting and degrading as this. Very, very sad."
