Shoppers at Tesco Brent Cross helped raise more than £600 for a children’s charity.
Volunteers from Spread a Smile, which entertains seriously ill children and teenagers in hospital, spent Sunday packing shopping bags while children were treated to face painting.
Josephine Segal, director of Spread a Smile, said: “We are so grateful to Tesco Brent Cross’ customers for their generosity in helping us to raise enough money to take six entertainers into hospital for a morning, to entertain seriously ill children and teenagers.”
