Care home tenants hope to hit the high notes after the launch of their new choir.
The Sydmar Singers choir brings together up to 20 tenants at Sydmar Lodge care home in Hale Lane, Edgware, who diligently practice twice a week.
Rehearsals are led by pianist Robert Speker, the home’s activities coordinator, and singers have been flexing their vocal chords to a wide range of popular tunes chosen by choir members.
Mr Speker said: “The choir is a great opportunity for the Sydmar Lodge community to come together and focus on an enjoyable activity.
“The positive response from residents and staff has been overwhelming, and we look forward to our first concert.”
