Britain's first Master's degree designed to educate students on ways of changing the public's smoking and eating patterns is to be launched at Middlesex University's Hendon campus.
The MA in Social Marketing has been developed following Government recommendations encouraging people to stop smoking and combat obesity.
Students will be taught how to design effective intervention campaigns regarding areas such as seatbelt usage, anti-speeding and responsible drinking.
The degree is suitable for professionals with an interest in promoting social and health campaigns who are already working in areas such as psychology, nursing, marketing or communications.
