A WOMAN who was found stabbed to death in Cricklewood has been named.
While they await formal identification, a Metropolitan Police spokesman said the woman is Imelda Molina, 49, of Ashford Road, Cricklewood.
Officers were called to Ashford Court, Cricklewood at 7.22pm last Thursday (October 29) to reports of an incident. They found a woman with stab wounds who was pronounced dead at the scene.
A post-mortem at Northwick Park mortuary on Saturday (October 31) confirmed she died from a stab wound.
Michael Purcell, 53, of Ashford Court, was arrested last Thursday and charged with murder.
He appeared at Hendon Magistrates’ Court yesterday (October 2) and was remanded in custody to appear at the Old Bailey tomorrow.
