An 90-year-old man has died after he was thrown into the road by a gust of wind and hit by a bus.
The man was hit by the side of the route 143 in Chaville Way, Finchley Central.
Emergency services performed CPR at the scene but he was pronounced dead 45 minutes after the incident at 1.15pm Regents Park Road has been cordoned off.
In a statement, the Met Police said: "At this early stage, officers believe the man was caught by a gust of wind and blown off the pavement against the side of a moving bus."
No arrests have been made.
