A bus driver suffered head injuries after being assaulted with a bike lock in Barnet today.
The 41-year-old victim was walking through the Golders Green bus station concourse, in Golders Green Road, at around 10.30am when he was attacked by a man.
Police and paramedics were called and witnesses said they saw the suspect approach the bus driver and hit him on the head with a D-lock, before fleeing on a mountain bike.
The victim was taken to a north-west London hospital where his injuries were assessed.
The suspect is described as black, of small build and wearing dark clothing.
