A football manager who tackled the North London half marathon in a lion’s costume handed over £255 to charity.
During Edgware Town FC's last home match of the season on Saturday April 30, the club gave £255.64 to The Larches Community.
Chris Walker manages the newly formed Edgware Town Ladies football team, and completed the 13.1 mile course in 2hrs 27 mins in March this year.
Mr Walker said: “I want to thank everybody who sponsored me as this has enabled us to help make a difference, and I know Linda and everyone at The Larches appreciates what has been achieved.”
The charity promotes and helps young people living with autism, learning difficulties and Asperger's Syndrome.
