PEOPLE of East Finchley are invited to an all-day community party this weekend.
The annual East Finchley Community Festival is run by and for the neighbourhood and will take place in Cherry Tree wood this Sunday, June 19.
This year’s festival will be opened by British actress Carolyn Pickles, and will take place from 12-6pm.
More than 80 homemade gift and food stallholders have also signed up to be part of the day.
Local bands and singer/songwriters will headline the main tent, and an owl display will fly in to thrill crowds this year.
A Punch and Judy show will headline the story telling tent for children, before authors lead story sessions from 12.30pm.
Children can also enjoy a mega slide and a climbing wall.
