A BARNET MP is in shock following the news of Jo Cox’s death yesterday.
Jo Cox, 41, Labour MP for Batley and Spen in West Yorkshire, was shot three times and stabbed outside Birstall library on Thursday.
A 52-year-old man has been arrested following the attack.
Barnet MP Theresa Villiers said: “I was deeply shocked to hear about the death of my colleague Jo Cox. It was a horrifying and senseless attack that took place while she was working for her constituents.
“No words can make sense of this, and my thoughts are with her family and her constituents at this terrible time.”
