A man and a cat were rescued from a flat fire in North Finchley.
The man was led to safety by firefighters via a first-floor balcony. The cat was also rescued from the blaze in the first-floor Friern Park flat on Wednesday night.
There were no reports of any injuries.
The London Fire Brigade was called to the scene at 7.25pm and had the fire under control by 9pm.
Two engines from Finchley Fire Station attended.
