A man has been arrested in connection with the murder of an elderly woman whose body was found in an allotment lock-up.
Lea Adri-Soejoko, 80, was found dead at Colindale allotments in Sheaveshill Avenue around 2.05am on Tuesday (Feb 28) after being reported missing less than an hour before.
A 40-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of her murder today (Mar 3) after a murder investigation was launched by the Met police yesterday (Mar 2).
He remains in custody in a London police station.
A special post-mortem for the late Ms Adri-Soejoko took place at Northwick Park Hospital on Wednesday (Mar 1), though a cause of death has yet to be officially disclosed.
DCI Noel McHugh is leading the investigation and has asked anyone with information to call his incident room at 020 8785 8099 or on 101.
