Investigations have been launched following two arson attacks in two days.
Detectives are appealing for information after a playground in Abbots Langley and the HS2 site in Maple Cross were targeted by arsonists.
A wooden lookout tower in South Way was set on fire at around 3.30am on April 18 and at around 1am on April 20, offenders broke into the HS2 site in Hornhill Road, tampered with equipment and started a fire before making off.
Police have not revealed the cost of the damage or whether the two incidents are related.
Anyone with information should call Hertfordshire Constabulary on 101.
