Pupils performed a West End musical for local primary schools in their school production.
Schoolchildren of Friern Barnet School, Hemington Avenue, performed the musical Billy Elliott for primary school children across Barnet, as well as a special performance on Thursday evening for the Mayor of Barnet, Cllr Brian Salinger and his son, Tom.
Governor Trevor Renouf said: "Many performers showed exceptional talent that could lead to a career within the performing arts.
"GCSE food technology students had prepared an array of tasty savoury nibbles for the Mayor prior to the performance and for the audience in the interval.
"It was a great performance."
Guests at the Thursday evening service were treated to canapes made by students, while schoolchildren were invited to attend on of three matinee performances.
