Christmas celebrations are coming to a local village this weekend.
Cllr Phil Cohen, Deputy Mayor Cllr Val Duschinsky and Chipping Barnet MP Theresa Villiers are expected to attend the East Barnet Village Christmas Fair from 12pm on Saturday.
There will be raffle tickets at three main areas across the village, with 60 prizes to be won, around 80 stalls and, on Friday evening, a brass band will be playing at the Methodist Church Hall.
Chairman of the Christmas committee Tony Elia said: "I am really excited about the Christmas Fair this year, it has been challenging at times trying to get it all together but with a good team we have managed it.
"There has been great support and help from local residents and shop keepers and we have introduced something different this year which is a surprise for everyone."
Stalls are situated on the pavements throughout the village, the Methodist Church hall and in the carpark of The Prince of Wales pub.
Santa will also take part in a walk through the village.
