A young man died in June after being hit by a white BMW in a hit-and-run in Finchley.
Emergency services were called at around 8.30pm on May 31 to Great North Leisure Park off High Road in Finchley, where Seyyed Rasta Mir-Feyzi, 23, had been hit by a white BMW.
He was taken by air ambulance to an east London hospital where he died at 6pm on June 1.
Detective Inspector John Marriott said: "This occurred in the middle of half term and there would have been a number of people who would have been in the vicinity having enjoyed the facilities at the leisure centre."
The police suggested a fight may have broken out before the incident, then the car was abandoned at the scene.
The post-mortem confirmed that Mr Mir-Feyzi died of a head injury and his next of kin were informed,
Metropolitan Police believed the incident may have been filmed on a dashcam and appealed to the public for information.
