A business networking group presented a charity cheque as part of its Christmas celebrations.
Linx Networking, a business development and networking group, presented charity Barnet Churches Action with a cheque for £100,000.
The charity runs Hope Corner Community Centre on the edge of the Dollis Valley estate in High Barnet, which is currently undergoing a regeneration.
The community centre is in its second iteration after the first, The Valley Centre, which was located in the heart of the estate, was knocked down as part of the early stages of the regeneration, and relocated to Mays Lane.
Linx chairman Simon Shoreman said the group were proud to support a local charity and thanked the trustees, none of whom collect salaries, for their work in such a difficult area in the borough.
The donation was originally set at £50,000, but was doubled.
