Two men involved in a fight which led to their friend's death have been sentenced for affray.
Walter Veiga-Rosa, 22, of no fixed address was jailed for 20 months’ at the Old Bailey on Tuesday, after admitting to affray and possession of an offensive weapon.
William Ferreira, 21, of no fixed abode also admitted to affray and was jailed for 13 months’, suspended for 12 months, and 150 hours of unpaid work.
Veiga-Rosa and Ferreira were friends of 21-year-old Joseph Olopo and were with him when he was fatally stabbed during a fight in Heathfield Gardens, Golders Green on February 17, 2017.
Jason De Sousa, 21, of no fixed address, was charged with Mr Olopo's murder but was acquitted and found guilty of manslaughter, and was jailed for 13 years in November.
