Three of the Mayor of Enfield's favourite bands will perform live at the Millfield Theatre on January 27 to raise funds for her charity, Enfield Cares.

Red Sky July, Van Susans and JFK Blues have all confirmed they will perform for Cllr Christine Hamilton's charity concert. As a huge fan of Live Music who regularly attends the concerts of all three bands, she is reportedly delighted that they will join together to form one night of music.

Red Sky July is husband and wife duo Ally Mcerlaine (guitarist in Texas) and Shelly Poole (one half of Alisha’s Attic), along with former model Charity Hair (The Alice Band).

Red Sky July’s sound is a hazy blend of alt-country and Americana and they have been added to the playlist on BBC Radio 2 as well as appearing on a whole host of radio and TV slots.

The band have supported artists including Sheryl Crow, Steve Earle, 10CC, Tom Jones, Beth Nielsen Chapman and Jools Holland. Festivals they have performed at include Glastonbury, Isle of Wight and T in the Park.

Red Sky July released their third album The Truth and The Lie in March 2016. Recorded in their own studio, the band were joined by Grammy nominated, Nashville based singer songwriter Beth Nielsen Chapman (Elton John, Neil Diamond, Willie Nelson).

On release the album debuted in the top three of the Official UK Country Charts.
