Concrete was poured over blocks at the site of new homes as part of a "topping out" ceremony.
MP for Hendon Matthew Offord, Barnet Council deputy leader Cllr Daniel Thomas and representatives from Barratt Metropolitan held a ceremony to pour concrete at the top of the latest block laid at Hendon Waterside in West Hendon on January 12.
A week later, Cllr Thomas and Mayor of Barnet Cllr Brian Salinger joined Barratt London at Trinity Square, Colindale, to hold a second "topping out" ceremony.
The ceremonies marked the delivery of a further 695 homes to the borough in both developments.
Cllr Thomas said: "The council has worked closely with Barratt London to ensure that both schemes deliver wider benefits for Barnet as a whole.
"Both schemes will not only bring investment to the borough, but are also providing community assets for everyone to enjoy."
