Two water pumps will be built in disadvantaged countries thanks to a school project.
Copthall School's Pump It! project has exceeded its fundraising target and will now be doubled by Parliament, meaning their efforts will mean two water pumps will be built through Water Aids 2030 challenge.
The school's project raised £2,030 which will be donated to Water Aid, leading to a final total of £4,060.
The project consisted of selling water around the borough and was created as part of the Tycoons in School competition.
The school hopes to develop it further in the coming months.
