A nursery and preschool rated good by Ofsted in May 2017 opened for a family fun day after refurbishment.
Bright Horizons Watford Day Nursery and Preschool celebrated a £120,000 investment at the event on Saturday January 20.
The newly refurbished nursery now has an ICT suite and children’s kitchen, which means it can now take children from three months to five years.
Families were able to enjoy free family portraits, food prepared by the nursery chef, face painting and entertainment.
Mayor of Watford Dorothy Thornhill and Deputy Mayor Cllr Peter Taylor officially opened the refurbished nursery.
Mayor Thornhill is a former teacher with 25 years’ experience and praised nursery manager, Lizzie Abbott, for creating a ‘home from home feel’ and an excellent learning environment.
Bright Horizons recently acquired Kidsunlimited.
