Ever fancied your child to be the next Beyonce, Olly Murs or Arctic Monkeys? If your youngster fits this description, there is an exciting new activity week which will give them a kick start in learning how to reach their musical goals and fulfil their potential.

Singers, rappers and instrumentalists of all abilities are invited to give SoundSkool a try - hosted at the RAF Museum in Grahame Park Way, Colindale.

Over the Easter Holidays, the school will host a music performance course for 14-18 year olds so they can hone their live music skills before a performance at the end of the course, held in one of the museum's galleries, surrounding the performers with aviation history.

And, the course is free.

SoundSkool is accredited by RockSchool, and is a specialist music industry college with a vibrant creative learning environment for 16 to 19-year-olds.

The college has full time and fully funded courses throughout the year and offer nationally recognises qualifications in maths and English as well as music, with state of the art facilities so students can keep up to speed with the constantly evolving music industry.

SoundSkool also holds masterclasses with leading artists, managers and key professionals to share their creative talent and insider knowledge.

With only 10 places available on the week-long course, this is certainly not one to be missed.

The SoundSkool week takes place from April 9-14 between 12-4pm every day at the RAF Museum, with a performance on Saturday.
