An intimate evening with Devdutt Joshi and a night with Courtney Pine and Omar, both taking place at the Harrow Arts Centre...

An intimate evening with Devdutt Joshi and his musicians Geet, Ghazal, Qawalli and your favourite farmaish (requests) from across the genres and decades.

Devdutt Joshi is a British born artist who has been giving concerts for over 25 years. Devdutt is well versed in many genres of Indian music such as Ghazal, Geet, Bhajan, Qawalli and modern Bollywood music.

Devdutt’s grandfather Chandra-Durgesh Joshi sang for HMV in 1945 and Dev has inherited his grandfather’s singing talent two generations later.

Devdutt says: “At a very early age seeing my Father perform in his band and attending music parties with him inspired me to play rhythmic instruments and accompany him and join the percussion section in the Orchestra. Later on from the age of 12, listening to artists such Pankaj Udhas, Jagjit Singh, Ghulam Ali, Mehdi Hassan and Anup Jalota as a child very much inspired me to take up singing.”
