A man has been seriously injured after a vehicle overturned on the M25.

The crash took place just before 4pm on Tuesday between junctions 27 and 28 of the motorway near Loughton.

A car in the outside lane flipped over, causing serious injury to a man in his 30s.

He was later taken to hospital.

A 31-year-old man from Benfleet was reported for careless driving at the scene.

Police are looking for anyone who witnessed the incident, or has dashcam footage to come forwards.
