A 22-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of rape.
The man, who is from Watford, has been released under investigation.
The attack on a woman in her 20s took place at a house, believed to be near Garston railway station, during the early hours of last Saturday (September 1).
Detective Inspector Victoria Coleman, from the Sexual Offences Investigation Team, said: “Following a report of an alleged rape in Watford in the early hours of Saturday, September 1, we have now arrested a man in connection with the incident.
“I would like to remind the public that we take reports of rape very seriously and we are continuing to carry out extensive enquiries in relation to this report. The victim is being supported by specially trained officers.”
