People interested in having their say on possible development where they live have an opportunity tomorrow to find out more.

Hertsmere Borough Council is hosting its third of five exhibitions, this time in Borehamwood, tomorrow from 4pm-8pm.

The event, at St Teresa’s Parish Hall in Shenley Road, opposite the council offices, is a chance for people who may have concerns or ideas to come forward and speak directly with councillors and council offices.

The council published a list of sites which have been put forward by landowners as potential sites for development as part of the local plan.

Around 500 homes need to be built a year in Hertsmere, according to government figures.

Tonight, Cllr Harvey Cohen, responsible for planning at the council, will be at the Elstree & Borehamwood Residents’ Association meeting.

The meeting, which will begin shortly before 8pm, will discuss a number of issues across Borehamwood and Elstree before the local plan takes centre stage.

It will also take place at St Teresa’s Parish Hall, although people should be aware that there will be a small fee to pay which goes towards funding future meetings.

Cllr Cohen will also be at the exhibition tomorrow.
