The quadruple stabbing comes exactly 24 hours after three people were shot, including a 16-year-old boy, in a minicab.

Officers are investigating a double shooting which happened in Gordon Road, off Bounces Road, Edmonton, at 6pm on Saturday.

Two 22-year-old men and the boy were injured but their conditions are not thought to be life-threatening but one of the passengers is believed to have life-changing injuries, the Met Police say.

The minicab was parked when the shots were fired.

At this early stage police believe that a second vehicle pulled alongside the minicab, at least two men got out and approached the victims. One was armed with a shotgun.

The shotgun was fired twice into the back of the vehicle.

No arrests have been made in connection with either incident.

Police are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed this incident but has not yet come forward or anyone who can identify the suspects.
