A school choir serenaded guests at a university’s Christmas lighting ceremony.
Year 5 to 8 pupils from St Mary's and St John's Church of England School, Hendon, sang carols in Middlesex University's main Quad on Monday for the University's Christmas switch-on.
Year 7 pupil Hana Krasniqi, whose parents Eris and Saranda came to London from Kosovo 25-years-ago, made a speech about the importance of Christmas as a time when "everyone comes together as a whole family".
In attendance at the switch-on was the Mayor of Barnet Cllr Reuben Thompstone.
