A man has been charged with possessing terrorist material following an investigation by officers from the Met's Counter Terrorism Command.
Mohammed Hamza Ghani, 28, of Barnet, was charged on Sunday, 13 January with four counts of possession of terrorist material contrary to section 58 of the Terrorism Act 2000.
Specifically, Ghani was charged with the following relating to four separate documents: between 1 January 2018 and 12 January 2019 made a record of information of a kind likely to be useful to a person committing or preparing an act of terrorism, contrary to section 58 of the Terrorism Act 2000.
He was arrested by officers from the Counter Terrorism Command on Saturday 12 January and subsequently charged as above.
Ghani is due to appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court on Monday 14 January 2019.
