Police searching for missing student Libby Squire, from High Wycombe, have found a body more than a month after she went missing.

The 21-year-old University of Hull student was last seen in the early hours of the morning on February 1 after going on a night out with friends in Hull.

Today, Humberside Police said a body had been recovered from the Humber Estuary this afternoon (March 20) in close proximity to the Grimsby Docks.

A spokesman said: “At this stage it is too early for any identification or confirmation of gender to be made.

“Further information will be released as soon as we are in a position that we are able to do so.”

A 24-year-old man was arrested in connection with Libby's disappearance.

Relowicz, of Raglan Street, Hull, was arrested on suspicion of abduction after Miss Squire went missing last month and he remains under investigation.

More as we get it.
