A councillor was tasked with finding an outfit in a charity shop after she was invited to a vintage tea.
The Cats Protection Shop, in Leeming Road, Borehamwood, were raising awareness of the store and the voluntary work they do.
Cats Protection is the UK’s leading feline welfare charity whelping around £200,000 cats and kitten every year.
Sales from the charity shops, where volunteers help to run, provide money to help the cats.
Cowley Hill ward councillor Michelle Vince was set a challenge by Cllr Jeremy Newmark to pick out an outfit from the shop for the event.

Cllr Vince said: “I was given one hour to buy the outfit get ready and back for the start of the party. With so many great bargains it wasn't hard. Their £1 sale meant the whole red outfit was less than £5.00.
“Please take the time to visit the shop and donate to them. So nice to see local volunteers and our Borehamwood youth volunteering in the shop. The charity work so hard please support them.”
