A Jewish community has celebrated its Seder with a Brexit and climate change twist.
More than 140 members and friends of East London and Essex Liberal Synagogue gathered at Clore Tikva School in Ilford for its Communal Seder held on Saturday (April 20).
The Communal Seder was held on the second night of Passover.
The evening was led by one of Redbridge's longest serving Rabbis' Rabbi David Hulbert.
He said: "It was great to have so many people of all ages sharing the festival and singing together."
The Seder followed the usual traditions with the addition of chilli peppers to represent climate change and global warming.
The four traditional questions asked during the Seder were also changed to questions about Brexit.
East London and Essex Liberal Synagogue chair Stewart Spivak said: "There was such a lovely warm atmosphere in the hall, a baby of only a few weeks old and some members and friends of 90 years plus. I was delighted to be part of it."
