Leader of the Brexit Party, Nigel Farage, says Watford can “beat the big guys” when the Hornets face Manchester City in the FA Cup final next Saturday.
The politician, who left UKIP last year and this year set up his own Brexit party, left a short message for fans while in Peterborough this week.
Mr Farage was in Peterborough where he hosted a large rally attended by nearly 2,000 supporters.
Afterwards, he was interviewed by Peterborough Telegraph reporter, Robert Alexander – who is also a huge Watford fan.
Mr Alexander asked the party leader if he could give a word or two for the Watford fans.
In his message, Mr Farage says he knows honorary life president Sir Elton John and he added the Hornets match-up with league leaders Man City reminds him of his “Brexit campaign against the establishment”.
