Children at a school are celebrating after they were given a coach.
Variety, the children’s charity, supplied one of its Sunshine Coaches to Woodlands School in Edgware.
Woodlands is a primary maintained special school which caters for 135 pupils aged between three and 11 years-old.
This is the second Sunshine Coach that has been donated to the Woodlands School, with the school increasing in size significantly.
The handover took place on May 3.
Anna Smakowska, head teacher at Woodlands School said: “We are not able to use public transport, and without the coach our pupils wouldn’t be able to experience exciting educational visits and outdoor sporting activities.
"The coaches will be used every day to enable access into the community for the kind of activities and experiences that are essential part of their life and learning.”
