A coach company that works with rugby club Saracens was overjoyed when the team won the Champions Cup.

The Mill Hill-based side beat Irish team Leinster 20-10 in the final at St James' Park, Newcastle, despite being 10 points behind for nearly half of the game.

MET Coaches are based in Watford and have supplied coaches for Saracens for the past three years.

Founder Peter Evans said: “All MET staff are sports fanatics and as a Welshman I am rugby mad, so we are very proud to work for a such a great team on and off the pitch. The regular driver Paddy is also a Saracens supporter and, as usual when at away games, after parking the coach up he gets a priority ticket to the game.

"Paddy had a great weekend and was invited to the team party after a win over Leinster 20 -10. It was a great weekend on and off the pitch and we are now hoping to win the premiership as well as the European Cup, which would be a great double for Saracens.”
