A man has been charged in connected to a murder.

Riyaz Adam, 25, of Pearcroft Road, Waltham Forest, was charged on Thursday, May 16, with one count of murder, following the death of Constantin Sin on Sunday, May 5.

Adam has also been charged with one count of attempted murder, perverting the course of justice, driving while disqualified and driving without insurance.

He appeared at Thames Magistrates’ Court on Friday, May 17, and was remanded in custody and will appear at Snaresbrook Crown Court on Tuesday, May 21.

Jack Bush, 23, of Oakdale Road, Waltham Forest, was charged on Wednesday, May 15, with perverting the course of justice, driving while disqualified and driving without insurance.

He appeared at Thames Magistrates’ Court on the same day and was remanded in custody to next appear at Snaresbrook Crown Court on Wednesday, June 12.

Officers were called at 00:40am on Sunday, May 5, to reports of a car in collision with two pedestrians at High Road, Leytonstone.

Mr Sin died in hospital at 5:18pm that day.

A second victim remains in hospital with serious injuries.
