The Liberal Democrats have come out on top in the EU elections in Watford.
The party secured 7,806 votes, beating The Brexit Party which polled 6,189 votes.
Turnout in the borough was 36 per cent.
The borough's votes will contribute to the wider East of England results to choose MEPs from across the region.
The Lib Dems have been campaigning for a second referendum where 'remain' is an option to vote for.
Watford Lib Dem parliamentary candidate Cllr Ian Stotesbury says the results in the town show their is "support locally to stop this disastrous Brexit process".

Brexit - 6,189
Labour - 3,617 (-10 per cent)
Green - 2,128 (+2 per cent)
Conservative - 1,632 (-14 per cent)
Change UK - 682
UKIP - 568 (- 20 per cent)
English Democrat - 92
Independent - 31
